My biggest recent progress is that I've started going for a jog at least every other day. Jogging actually involves several aspects:
- Heart
- Lungs
- Joints like knees and ankles
- Leg muscles
We really need all four to be in good shape in order to keep jogging for longer periods. Each run feels a bit different. I’m not too worried about knee or muscle pain—what concerns me most is my heart. But today I jogged for 30 minutes and didn’t feel the same discomfort I used to feel when I first started running. Even though the other three areas weren’t in great shape, I still feel encouraged—it seems like I’m gradually getting stronger.
My focus is also improving!
Let’s keep it up—there’s not much time left to prepare for my career change.
